Roth-Steer Award for Research in Alzheimer's Disease
Applications are invited for the Roth-Steer Award for Research in Alzheimer’s Disease, which recognizes outstanding basic or clinical research related to Alzheimer’s Disease by a medical, graduate, or post-doctoral student.
Through this award, Randolph C. Steer and his brothers Clifford J. Steer, M.D., and Reginald D. Steer wish to honor the lives of Melvin and Ruth Roth. The remarkable contributions of Mr. and Mrs. Roth to their family, friends and the community over many decades are deeply appreciated.
Eligibility
Graduate, medical, or post-doctoral students enrolled at the University of Minnesota Medical School who are conducting or have recently conducted basic or clinical science research related to Alzheimer’s Disease are eligible to apply. The Medical School will coordinate the selection process. The Medical Education Honors and Awards Committee will select recipients. The award will be presented in the spring and consists of a $1,000 award and certificate.
