M Simulation to Provide PPE training for UMN students returning to clinical environments

PI: Lou Clark

Overview: Our M Simulation team is receiving training in the coming weeks from hospital staff on how to properly wear and disinfect PPE. They will teach and assess 180 Senior medical students on these skills the week of June 22, 2020 so that they may return to clinical environments by or after June 29, 2020. We are applying for this grant to pay for PPE supplies. The training for our staff is being provided by the hospital in-kind. The training will take place on the 6th floor in our new simulation facility in the HSEC Building.

Budget: $3,062
