Anst Gelin values the practice of medicine both at home and across the globe. He is involved with medical students, residents, and fellows' education in the United States, and also around the world with Haiti being an area of focus. Dr. Gelin started one of the first Emergency Clinical Ultrasonography fellowship program outside the U.S. for Emergency Physician in Haiti and has continuously been involved in medical education in Haiti.
His area of interest is emergency ultrasound education with a special emphasis in low resource settings.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gelin is an intermediate traditional rock climber. He also enjoys reaching the summits of mountains, having successfully climbed multiple 6,000 meter peaks.
