Dr. Kathleen Lane, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. She is a graduate of the U of M's Resident Leadership Academy and the Clinician Educator Pathway. She is the UMMC Site Director for Inpatient Process of Care Clerkship and is the co-PI for the LOOP Project, a nationwide study to improve trainee diagnostic reasoning through rapid, systematic peer feedback. Her interests include clinical reasoning, diagnostic error, feedback, and medical education.
