Summary
Dr. Kathleen Lane, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. She is a graduate of the U of M's Resident Leadership Academy and the Clinician Educator Pathway. She is passionate about medical education, assessment, curriculum development, and clinical reasoning. To those ends, she is the course director for the Acting Internship in Internal Medicine, an Assessment and Coaching Expert (a role that includes coaching students in becoming competent in the AAMC's 13 core EPAs), and Education Lead for the Hospitalist Section. She is involved in research projects centering on clinical reasoning, diagnostic error, and feedback.
