Biography

Bio

Maren Olson, MD, MPH, MEd is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and did her residency in pediatrics at Seattle Children's. Her clinical work is as a pediatric hospitalist. Dr. Olson co-directs the Center for the Art of Medicine in the Medical School. She also serves as an Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency and as a Faculty Advisor in the Medical School. Dr. Olson is passionate about mentoring learners, exploring the intersection between art and medicine, and caring for hospitalized kids and their families. Her academic interests include promoting resilience among physicians-in-training and incorporating storytelling and reflective writing into medical education and practice.
