Parham Alaei, PhD

Dr. Parham Alaei is the Professor and Director of Medical Physics at the University of Minnesota, where he also serves as Director of the Medical Physics Graduate Program. A board-certified medical physicist, Dr. Alaei has over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, specializing in image-guided radiation therapy and radiation dosimetry. His scholarship includes more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, with internationally recognized contributions to radiation therapy quality assurance and imaging dose optimization. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including AAPM and ASTRO, and frequently presents invited lectures at national and global conferences.
