Catalog Description:Â Â This course focuses on the management of gynecologic oncology patients. Students will serve as junior interns, work-up cases and participate in rounds and case discussion conferences. It is recommended that students take this course in Periods SP3 or SP4 of year 3 or during year 4.

Typical weekly schedule/Delivery Mode:  Students will be teamed with Resident on the Gyn Onc service. They will round each morning Monday-Friday, then be assigned to OR, or 7C or clinic. They will attend weekly didactic conference. One weekend of call is required during the rotation.

Course Objectives:Â Â This course will provide students with a full-time experience on the gynecologic oncology service. Students will become familiar with the problems, treatments and management of gynecologic oncology patients.
