Catalog Description:  This course focuses on the management of gynecologic oncology patients. Students will serve as junior interns, work-up cases and participate in rounds and case discussion conferences. It is recommended that students take this course in Periods SP3 or SP4 of year 3 or during year 4.

The majority of placements for this course are at UMMC. Students placed at other sites (see below) will be contacted by the course coordinator after the drop/add deadline passes.

Required session attendance: Does not apply

Typical weekly schedule/Delivery Mode:  Students will be teamed with Resident on the Gyn Onc service.  They will round each morning Monday-Friday, then be assigned to OR, or 7C or clinic.  They will attend weekly didactic conference.  One weekend of call is required during the rotation.
