Details

Catalog Description:  Students will receive in-depth exposure to diagnosis and management of maternal and fetal complications of pregnancy. It is recommended that students take this course in Period SP3 or SP4 of year 3 or during year 4.

Typical weekly schedule/Delivery Mode:  The student will work directly with the third year OB/GYN resident, Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine attendings during the rotation. Student will participate in morning rounds and sign out daily. Will be involved with inpatient and outpatient care of the MFM practice. Overnight call is not assigned, but can be taken at discretion of student/resident.
