Congratulations to Melissa Edgar, elected as Medical Student Trustee for the Minnesota Medical Association

Melissa is a second year medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth Campus. Ms. Edgar admires the MMA’s goal to make Minnesota a better place for patients to receive care and a better place for current and future physicians to practice. She has had various experiences that will help her contribute to the MMA Board of Trustees, including working with diverse populations and previous leadership experience.  

Melissa has a solid dedication to fulfilling her duties as a trustee. She says, “As the medical student trustee, my goal is to accurately represent the best interests of the incoming generation of physicians and our future patients.”
