Dr. Adams primary clinical interest is neurotology, the surgical and medical management disorders of hearing, balance, and facial movement. She treats disorders of the ear canal, ear drum, middle ear bones, mastoid, inner ear (cochlea and vestibular labyrinth), and nerves traveling to the brainstem. She is part of a collaborative team of neurosurgeons and skull base surgeons who treat tumors of the lateral skull base, including acoustic neuromas.
