Research Summary/Interests

The role of glucokinase in insulin secretion from the pancreatic beta-cell - with applications to pregnancy and diabetes.

The multiple mechanisms used by students to learn in the Anatomy lab, tools to facilitate the teaching of anatomy; and anatomy research and instruction for Industry.

The development and production of plastinated human anatomical specimens that can supply public or private institutions for use in teaching and research.
