    Details

    Catalog Description:  Students will work with MINCEP Epilepsy Care epileptologist in inpatient/outpatient settings. Emphasis will be on learning diagnosis, pharmacological and surgical treatment, and the social and psychological consequences to care for all needs of the person with epilepsy.

    Sites:  FU: University of Minnesota, MINCEP Epilepsy Care, 5775 Wayzata Blvd, Suite 200, St. Louis Park, MN

    Required session attendance:

    Typical weekly schedule/Delivery Mode:  M-F, 7:30am-5:00pm

    Direct patient care:  Yes

    Consent Requirement: Open to student scheduling

    Course Objectives:  This course will familiarize students with all aspects of diagnosing and treating persons with epilepsy.
