Catalog Description: Students will spend 4 weeks on plastic surgery services. Clinic, consultation service, and OR experiences will be available. A 2-credit option may be available by permission from the department.

Required session attendance: If a student has taken SURG 7550 previously, there are no events held by the University. If they have not taken SURG 7550, they must attend one training on the first Tuesday of the clerkship.

Consent Requirement: Open to student scheduling.
Course Objectives: By the completion of the rotation, students will be able to evaluate plastic surgery patients, participate in the operative procedure, and recognize post operative complications.
