Our primary objective is to improve the health of women across the lifespan and, by extension, to improve the health of their families and communities.
Our short-term objective is to facilitate the research careers of our scholars by expanding their research skills, experience in team science, research networks and leadership abilities, and increasing their scholarly productivity.
Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health ( BIRCWH ) Program
Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health (BIRCWH) program is an internal K12 grant mechanism from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women’s Health that fosters mentored research career development of junior faculty of either gender who are engaged in interdisciplinary women’s health or sex differences research.
Seed Grants for Interdisciplinary Research on Aging in Women
Support for the seed grant is from an endowment that is designed to “be used to advance research, education, or other activities directly related to the improvement of the health and well-being of menopausal women.”
