With faculty engaged in a wide range of research fields, there are endless opportunities to explore areas of interest from both an academic and inquisitive perspective. Finally, the University’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment was deeply reassuring. I knew this was the kind of place where I could thrive—not only as a student but as an individual.

Medical Interests

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but my family moved to Minnesota when I was just four months old, so I’ve pretty much been a Minnesotan my whole life. I’ve always been fascinated by medicine, but working as an ocular surgical recovery technician and as a clinical research assistant before medical school really confirmed it was the right path for me.
