Srijoy Mahapatra, MD, to Take on Expanded Role

We’re pleased to announce that, effective today, Srijoy Mahapatra, MD, will expand his M Health Fairview role to focus on innovation and strategy enterprise-wide. In addition to his M Health Fairview role, Srijoy will also hold an appointment at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Earlier this year, Srijoy joined the M Health Fairview Executive Leadership Team as Chief Clinical Innovation Officer. Srijoy saw the unique opportunity to work in partnership with the strong team we’ve assembled to create new programs that leverage the shared resources of our organizations. In this way, we can advance care delivery and our standing in the market. To better capture the scope of his care system responsibilities, Srijoy’s M Health Fairview title will be changed to Chief Strategy Officer.

In addition to Srijoy’s M Health Fairview work, Srijoy will also serve as Assistant Dean for Clinical Innovation at the University of Minnesota Medical School. In this role, he will pursue and strengthen University partnerships and planning efforts in support of its research and clinical missions. He’ll also look for opportunities to foster innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration across the University, working closely with the Associate Dean for Strategy & Innovation and Medical School leadership.

This level of alignment, as demonstrated by Srijoy’s connection across the organizations, is another example of the synergy that we desire across our joint clinic enterprise, and it will further catalyze our partnership.
