Details

Catalog Description:  This interdisciplinary course introduces students to hospice and palliative medicine. Students will participate in patient care under the supervision of palliative medicine physicians and within the multidisciplinary team in hospital, outpatient clinic, and home settings. The experience will include a range of medical problems and focus on patients with advanced illness. Particular attention will relate to pain management and complex medical decision-making.
