Global Medical Education and Research Program

The goal of the Global Medical Education and Research (GMER) Program is to help every medical student participate in a global health focused elective during their 4th year after they have completed their required clinical rotations.  

Students are encouraged to contact the GMER office during their first and second years to learn about other global health related opportunities offered by the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility.  

Students should begin planning for their GMER elective during their 3rd year.
